  • Show folders to mirror back end

    It would be a very good idea to show folders/categories on the front end for better usability for site visitors. Otherwise it is just a sea of files for them to sift through and folders/categories add clarity to what is contained within them

  • Thumbnails on images

    It will be a great addition to have the thumbnails displayed (optionally) if the files are images. It helps a lot. I do have this plugin to create stock images of my products to other retailers. And the names of the files don’t give a real description to the images (even if i try) So it will be great to have the thumbnails displayed on both grid and list layouts Also, it will be great to be able to use the alternative titles for the image files. Many times we naturally write those with a more comprehensive name already.

  • Thumbnails for documents

    As an addition to the request of thumbnails for images, I think it would be great to have thumbnails for all documents (to have the choice between the app icon and a thumbnail). For example pdf can be shown as thumbnails. Look at the image of my pdf media folder.

  • More choice of columns

    The available columns are limited to 3 fixed columns in the list view. A more flexible choice (categories, taxonomy, custom fields, excerpt) would be great, and in the grid view too (alternative to title).

  • Sort Folder options

    It’s will be great if folder can sort more than by Name, is it possible if you add more Sort Folders options like Sort Files. eg. By Name By Date Created By Modified By Author By Size Thankfully.

  • Add Description/Caption display

  • Restrict access to folders

    It'll be good addition to restrict access to the created folders for example using password. This will help to better organize files and share it only with certain groups of users. Thanks in advanced.

    Hi, Rather than using selectedFolder mapping the index value, it would be useful to support an alternative property of selectedFolderName mapping to the folder name instead. This ensures adding/rearranging folders in the media library won't impact existing pages. Thanks.
